Mr. Herman Amerasekera is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka, has over 35 years experience in accounting, finance, investment advisory including business startup services, local Laws and regulations and consultancy services. At present he is the Senior Partner Amerasekera & Co a Public Accounting Practice, and was a partner in global accounting practice Colombo Office. He also has experience in project evaluations, needs assessments, post implementation and mid-term reviews and other consultancy assignments on behalf of International Organizations and Funding Agencies. He has also served as project Director / Client Service Partner for several funded projects implemented in Sri Lanka. He is also a member of International Fiscal Association.
The Partner responsible for assurance and business advisory services, Mr. T. Dharmarajah is a Degree holder from the University of Sri Jayawardanapura and is a fellow and a Council Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. Mr. T. Dharmarajah is also a visiting Lecturer in several Universities in Sri Lanka and Author of books on Accounting Standards. His most recent publication was titled “revised Sri Lanka Accounting Standards” published in Sinhala Language for the secondary and tertiary education streams. He is engaged in a number of awareness programs in the application of Sri Lanka Financial Reporting Standards among the Government and private sector organizations. Mr. Dharmarajah counts more than thirty years of experience in assurance services, business advisory and in accounting.
Mr. Kamantha Amerasekara, one of senior Partners who oversees the Tax and Legal services, has received his Bachelor’s degree in Management from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. He is concurrently an Attorney at Law. He has authored a number of books published in taxation in Sri Lanka, they are widely used in universities and professional level accountancy examinations. Mr. Kamantha has more than twenty years of experience in his respective fields and is a renowned tax and legal advisor in Sri Lanka and for numerous international clients. He serves in the Director Boards of several listed companies in the country.
Our tax planning & compliance assurance partner, Mr. K. Sivanesan holds a bachelors degree in commerce from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka. He is a visiting lecturer of several accountancy institutions in the subject of advance taxation and management accounting for final level examinations conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. He bears a track record of more than twenty years in the filed of taxation, is a specialist in tax research and tax advisory services. Mr. Sivanesan is a member of the faculty of taxation of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has contributed to the taxation subject including developing the study textbooks for the Chartered Tax Advisory course conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.
Mr. K. Sundararaj also partner engaged in the tax practice is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration. Mr. Sundararaj handles large corporate tax affairs as well as the tax matters of our international clients. Mr. Sundararaj contributes to the examination of Chartered Tax Advisory Course conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He possesses more than fifteen years of experience in the taxation field.
Mr. S. Sivakumar, is also a Partner of the Tax Advisory Services of the firm is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, experienced in the field of taxation, handling tax compliance work of the clients ranging corporates, NGOs’, individuals etc. Mr. Sivakumar is engaged in tax law research on clients’ tax issues and provides tax solutions and opinions.
